I later found my specialty in media when my sister-in-law gifted me my first camera, from taking simple shots on Calgary's roadside, to photographing engagements. I thought what better way than to combine my two worlds together, and to use media as a way of giving a voice to marginalized voices and advocating on the issues most important to myself and my communities. Fast forward to today, my hope is to use social media, photography, videography, and digital design to give a platform to those who need it most- small businesses, non-profit and community organizations, and changemakers who just need a spotlight.
